"We're humorous... and we stand a better chance under that guise, because all the serious people like Martin Luther King and Kennedy, and Ghandi got shot."

Katie seems to learn through osmosis. She's started healing like I do and feeling the charges in objects and eating a lot of fresh, green plants to keep her magickal energy up. I didn't teach her any of that (except a little of the healing). She's just learning a lot. I did teach her about opening and closing and invoking and banishing, etc. She's just really into the theories, like I was. She understands the basic on how to do things; she just wants me to tell her why these things work. How come I can make the rocks vibrate in her hand and how come she can hear my thoughts (A thoroughly uncomfortable experience when one is not expecting it).
She's taken a lot of initiative. Like, she keeps surprising me by knowing facts I haven't taught her (I did lend her some books, but I keep forgetting that she is actually reading them.) And she has healed my headaches (Unfortunately, she didn't know when to stop the first time and gave us both worse headaches). I had been telling her things for a few months, because she was curious about that aspect of my life. But I wasn't that willing to tell her too much, because I just felt uncomfortable doing so.
I've verbally been explaining things to her for about five months. I've been actually teaching her for a month and a half. I initiated her (all signs clicked and it seemed pure) the night before Easter.
I am not about to do sex magick with her as Coley suggested. It's too powerful and there needs to be a purpose to such magick. Like a healing magick would be great, but who could I heal? It's just messing with forces that should not be messed with needlessly. I will do some ritual with her, though. I am doing a circle with Chris on May Day that I am bringing her to.
I didn't like the Goddess-God ritual I did with Chris a little while ago. It was nice and powerful, but it downgraded the role of the god. It made him the pathetic, obsequious lapdog of the goddess and I believe them to be equals. They are the same thing, after all. Masculine and feminine are both necessary in Nature. Sorry, rambling.

interesting thought: Masculine and feminine are meaningless to an alien.
